This self-registration campsite is located near the Clutha River, a few kilometres from Wanaka. It is popular with summer holidaymakers and strategically placed for day trips to Mount Aspiring National Park (via Matukituki Valley or Makarora) and the Queenstown/Arrowtown region. Toilets, taps, rubbish bins and picnic tables are provided. This camp does not have an onsite reception. No bookings are taken for this site, its first come first serve, you just pick your spot and pay on arrival via the eftpos machines at each entrance. There is plenty of space, but a spot is not guaranteed. There are no powered sites. No kitchen or showers. No wifi is available.
