Pauanui can be a little challenging to navigate for the tourist, as there are minimal information signs. Look for Vista Paku as you come into town and then follow it nearly to the end. This camp is largely filled with wellkept, permanent ‘weekenders’ and there are only 7 powered sites for casual stopovers. The smart camp kitchen is roomy, with modern appliances and fridge/freezer. The bright ablutions have tidy, free showers with plenty of hot water and a baby’s room with bath and change table. An automatic laundry and dump station are provided.
