Omana Regional Park offers a serene escape with stunning coastal views and well-maintained facilities. Visitors on platforms like Google Reviews and TripAdvisor appreciate the park's spacious walking trails and picnic spots, with one reviewer noting, "The views of the Hauraki Gulf are breathtaking and perfect for a family outing." However, some have suggested that certain areas could benefit from better signage. A frequent comment is about the accessibility, with one visitor stating, "Great for families, but make sure to check the paths if you have a stroller." Overall, Omana Regional Park is a lovely spot for a day in nature, but a few improvements could enhance the experience.
Omana has an extensive area for camping just above the beach, which is reached through an appealing picnic park that has tables and BBQ’s, and a purpose built campfire site. There are taps, one outdoor cold shower and toilets with wheelchair access. Annual passes are available. Rubbish bins are provided for campers only.
