On the edge of a football field, and under the large mature trees, is this tiny camp. There are about 20 sites, eight with power, all on grass. Facilities are tired but tidy and include a small kitchen/dining with basic cooking facilities, clean toilets, and a washing machine and dryer. There is a small playground for children and a lrage field in front, you will share this spot with a few permanent residents. This is a council owned camp, visited twice daily by caretakers John and Sandra who live at 5 Hulme Street if you need them. If they are not available, speak to the manager at the Otautau Hotel in the Main Street.
