This large camping ground in the suburbs of Gore has well-groomed level sites, with graceful birch trees and good shelter. Powered sites, and numerous tent sites, are hidden in pockets of shrubbery, some van sites have gravel stands and are close to the main amenities block. The two kitchen/dining facilities have all amenities, plus full stoves and two clean, tiled ablution blocks and a laundry with auto equipment. A dump station is here, Eftpos and credit card facilities are extra services. This area is noted for its brown trout fishing at the nearby Mataura River. The camp has good housekeeping standard and is handy to local services.
