Formerly Crossroads. On the direct route to Tasman National Park, is this small camp with a big heart. There are 23 power sites and 20 for tents with a variety of shaded and sunny sites including large open paddock areas and room for larger vehicles. Drop into the homely retro kitchen where a fuel-burning stove, an electric range and microwave are provided, as well as all utensils. You can pick the free herbs growing outside for your meal and eat under the veranda. Level grounds make a great play area for the children, and a good selection of books and magazines can be borrowed from the games and dining area. Good modern ablutions have free unisex showers, the laundry has an automatic washer and dryer and wireless internet is available. Close to the Wangapeka, Mt. Arthur and Shedwood tracks, good fishing, and in winter the Nelson Lakes ski fields are not too far away. Your pet and children friendly hosts are Tina and Colin Ball.
