An easy sealed drive to Tauranga Bay brings you to a sweep of orange sandy beach that borders the camp. A boat ramp is nearby. From the camp you can arrange a boat charter for fishing trips, harbour cruises, dive courses or dive trips to the Rainbow Warrior. There are basic supplies at the office/camp store all year with good summer stock. Internet is available. The 150 level sites (120 have power) are well drained but little shade. Secure boat and trailer parking is provided. Two kitchens are operational when the camp is busy, both are clean, with gas hobs set into tiled benches, microwaves and a fridge/freezer. There is a outdoor BBQ corner nearby. The two laundries have automatic machines. Seasonal prices apply. Pets at some times of year by arrangement only.
