Situated on a farm, 1 km east of Waitomo village, this backpackers hostel offers convenient camping around it’s pleasant, elevated grounds. There are some stunning campsites (4 with power), with great views out over the Waitomo Valley. All the facilities, including internet access, are in the lodge. Designed to capture the views and the sun, the lodge has a wrap-around deck with BBQ and outdoor dining space or dine alfresco using one of the timber-slab picnic tables dotted around the grounds. There is a swimming pool, tennis court, basketball court, and a very relaxed atmosphere - with various farm animals to make friends with.
