A huge domain camping ground that wends its way around a sports field in the centre, before moving out to shaded spots under the trees. The old style kitchen and ablution blocks are still there, but a new block has also been added with modern and clean facilities throughout. The ablution block includes a disability suite with free showers on timers, while the modern kitchen/dining has all amenities including full stoves and a comfortable seating area…and a bottle chiller fridge that holds books instead of drinks. The other smaller, basic kitchen has stoves and fridges and a small TV room adjacent, and in the laundry are six automatic washers. Next door is a tennis court, upmarket children’s play area and bowling green, and a café and hotel are close by. Go walking or biking or visit the many historical gold mining areas.
