As an alternative to freedom camping, the Wyndham Camping Ground offers a range of cost-effective options, including cabins, powered camp sites, unpowered sites and tent pitching areas.
Although this is in pine tree country, the camp is on an open paddock with only an occasional tree for shade. It is a quiet rural situation with 12 power sites and plenty of room for tents. There is a homely kitchen with a mini dining area and all appliances, plus cooking and eating utensils. The few showers are roomy and a small laundry houses an auto washing machine. The toilets (a public facility) are separate. There are two adjacent hard tennis courts and a bowling green, with a golf course nearby.
